Applications

Material choices, industry by industry

The same crosslinker behaves differently across industries — dosage, co-agents and process windows all change. Eight sectors, and where things usually go wrong.

01 PV

PV encapsulant film

The curing system of EVA / POE film governs transmittance, peel strength and long-term weathering.

TAICS is our high-purity PV grade — assay 99.0–100.0%, colour ≤30. Typical dosage is 1.2–1.5 phr with a co-agent; run a small lamination trial before scaling up.

02 Cable

Wire & cable crosslinking

Peroxide-cured XLPE insulation, alongside the silane route.

BIPB decomposes into odourless acetophenone-type fragments, suited to low-odour insulation and sheath compounds; dosage is about two-thirds of DCP at equal crosslink density. Liquid TAC is easy to meter in-line.

03 Rubber

Rubber curing and modification

Co-agent for EPDM, silicone and fluoroelastomers — raising crosslink density and heat resistance.

TAIC and TAC shorten cure time and lower compression set; BIPB suits odour-free, bloom-free parts. Typical loading is 1–3 phr.

04 Flame retardant

Flame-retardant compounding

Brominated flame retardancy for ABS, PP, PE, polyurethane and textiles.

TBC is a reactive brominated flame retardant with high bromine content, good thermal stability and light fastness. TBC-A (whiteness ≥95) for light colours and visible parts, TBC-B (≥92) for general industrial parts.

05 Light industry

Foaming and lightweighting

Expanding microspheres for footwear, synthetic leather, wallpaper and print coatings.

TEP is a core-shell thermally expandable microsphere, 30–40 μm, onset 140–160 °C, maximum expansion 190–200 °C — it foams under both atmospheric and pressurised conditions.

06 Synthesis

Organic synthesis and intermediates

Raw material for agrochemical and pharmaceutical intermediates, and for metal heat treatment.

Two grades, assay ≥92% and ≥96%, in 25 kg woven bags or to order. Watch pH and temperature in synthesis; avoid direct contact with strong acids.

07 Mining

Precious-metal leaching

A low-toxicity alternative to sodium cyanide that keeps the existing cyanidation flowsheet.

Suited to heap, vat and carbon-in-pulp/leach circuits; working solution 10%–20%, pulp pH 10.5–11.5 (adjusted with lime or caustic), pulp temperature not below 10 °C. Use for illegal mining or unapproved recovery is strictly prohibited.

08 Basic chemicals

Basic chemical supply

Sulphuric, hydrochloric and nitric acid, liquid caustic and sodium hydroxide.
